Agreement Signed with Sapienza University on Student Mobility

On 29 September 2019, an international agreement on student mobility was signed between Allameh Tabataba'i University (ATU) and the Sapienza University of Rome (SUR).
Following the efforts made by Dr Raffaele Mauriello, Assistant Professor of ATU Faculty of Persian Literature and Foreign Language, in line with the university"s policy to expand relations with the universities abroad, on Sunday, 29 September 2019, ATU and the SUR signed an agreement on academic cooperation and exchange of students. Thanks to the signature of this document, the parties agreed to exchange a maximum of 4 students each year to each other, and the students will have the chance to study for 1 or 2 semesters, with the credits recognised by their own universities. The expiry date mentioned for the first version of the agreement is 5 years, after which the parties will decide on the extension of the period.
All ATU students, both Iranian and international students, who are willing to participate in this programme are welcome to get further details and information from ATU Directorate for International Academic Cooperation, located in the Dehkade-ye Olampik Campus, Central Administration Building (Sazman-e Markazi).
Having nearly 120 thousand students, the Sapienza University of Rome is one of the largest universities in Europe and is considered as one of the oldest in the world, with more than 700 years of age. Moreover, this university was placed in the 203rd rank according to the QS World University Rankings 2020. Several famous figures, including 3 Nobel Prize Winners are among its graduates.
